Almost didn't check today

Emily Cried to Blogger, had to remove this post.

  1. Whatever Emily!
The filth just made us sick anyway! She acts like she just took away our birthdays.

  2. PICTURES! Please. I wanna feel dirty.

  3. In all fairness, it is a smart move to remove everyone from her friend list. She had WAY too much info out there. Way to easy to find her IRL. But as always she had to be snippy and all high and mighty about why she was changing her settings.

  4. Hey, am I the only one who is shocked at the support of Valentine's Day when there was the brouhaha over whether or not to celebrate Christmas?

I mean Christmas is the celebration of the birth of the focus of their faith. Valentine's Day is a conspiracy between Catholics and Hallmark, isn't it?

  6. So she made herself a fan page?! Thinking a little much of herself, huh?
Next time don't add people you don't know!!

  7. I found a beautiful photo of the happy couple:

For some reason, I thought our Em was thinner. Is she starving Dna and hoarding tube meat and gloodles for herself?

  9. The whole lovefest going on in the comment section was a bit over the top. I can't help but believe that all those people who are enabling Emily to starve her husband and kids and make them live in squalor by telling her to ignore the voices of reason are equally complicit in it all. How will they feel when this all falls apart (and it will eventually) and someone gets seriously hurt.?

  14. Thanks for the pic!

That she herself wears glasses that you must get from the dr and doesn't even take her kids to the doctor to see if they NEED glasses or dental work or anything else appals me!

  15. I bet she was knocked up with Thomas. Does he always wear that blue shirt! Every pic I've seen he is wearing it! She probably only allows him 2 shirts.
Poor guy does look really thin. With some dental work and good haircut he possibly could be halfway descent looking.

  16. Dear ghostdp,
You seem very excited for the change, dont stop there. Clean your bedroom, living room, kitchen, &bathroom. It will make you feel better coming home to a clean home. Your kids will have more room if you declutter. While cleaning think safety. Dont stack or hang things from the wall.

  21. Emily's day:
Dan leaves for work, she finishes her blog post.
Kids wake up, she feeds them ketchup and creamer from the clown restaurant.
She sticks one kid in the crib, locks one under the crib and the third she stuffs in the jumper.
Throws on her little black number and heads out to secret shop (lunch).
She slams a coke, big mc, fries. While by the soda she slaps her purse down and fills it with ketchup, creamer, napkins, straws, mustard, cup lids, and coffee stiring sticks.
Goes home to the kids all crying.
Fires up the crock pot. Dumps ketchup and some creamer in it for tomatoe soup.
    checks her blog, writes comments.
    Dna comes home.
She puts out the cup lids with a plop of soup on each and gives Dna,lil Dna, booby a stiring stick to eat with.
Plops down 1 cup of limeade and sticks 3 straws in it.
Then opens a creamer sticks a straw in it and feeds Tommy.

  24. Well now I know why they don't turn up the heat they use her rolls to keep warm. That is not pregnancy fat that is just fat!! I remember her posting about 'missing meals' I am calling bullshit on that the only people missing meals are the boys and Dna. Maybe she should switch diets with Dna. I bet she has a 24pk of Mountain Dew hidden under some dirty clothes somewhere.

Dna please don't smile it is scarier then when the Joker smiles.

  25. Hey pork pig give Dna some food too!She is smuggling snacks!

  26. Dan looks emaciated.

I seriously doubt if Emily came from a very wealthy background as her teeth do not appear to have benefitted from orthodontic intervention.

Emily should use her smarts to create a better life for her family instead of engaging in internet bickering with a bunch of strangers.

  27. By no way is she frugal, she is just cheap. If she was frugal here are something that she would do: buy a whole chicken and either cut it up herself or roast the whole thing and use it for different dishes ie: tacos, casseroles, pot pie etc. Then take the bones and make a soup. While roasting the chicken she also could make roasted vegetables ie potatoes, carrots and squash and use them for meals. I know that make her use the evil oven. Also instead of buying tube meat, she could shop for a better cut of meat that would go further and much better for them. Quit being so concerned about GMO, and start buying ready made noodles, they are cheaper than you making them. Join a Mom's Club were you can swap toys and clothing with other Mom's, that will help with all that crap you have laying around your house. Buy good quaility things that will last. I am stilling using the same pots & pans and knifes that I recieved when I got married 30 years ago. We can afford to buy new ones, however why they are still good. Medical care to prevent diease is one of the biggest frugal thing that she could do.
In my view she is just a cheapa$$, not frugal. Her family is suffering because of it.

  28. Don't forget besides Chester the Crockpot, she got Robbie the Roaster that Dan won at work. She can cook a whole turkey in the roaster and do all the leftovers in the crockpot.

  29. Damn, that pic link posted above isn't working for me. Does anyone have it saved?

I'm tempted to add her as a friend... I wonder if there'll be anything interesting on that page?

  30. Well said, counterrascal!

And while I agree that Emily looks much less undernourished than Dan, and I wonder why he's lost so much weight while she hasn't if they are eating the same diet, I think it's wrong to call her a "porker" or a "pig" or fat. I think it's wrong to call anyone that. Judge her based on her bitchiness, not her appearance.

  31. How can you all be so crtical of our Lovely Emmie? Can't you just see the love our Dna has for her? How he cradles her fertility godess figure in his strong manly arms? How she she holds his arms showing her submission to his authority?
Unfortunatly the shadow of a nearby tree fell across Dna's lower face, masking his sparkling smile. We all love their wonderful porcelain skin. Emmie works hard at keeping their diet free of foods that would spoil such gorgeous skin tone.
Please find someone else to harp on. We feel our Emmie and Dna are just fine as they are.

  32. I'm absolutely disgusted by some of the comments here.

STOP THE WEIGHT-BASHING!!!! It is NEVER EVER appropriate (if I could put this in 50-point font I would).

Criticize her parenting, her frugality, but not her weight.

    ReplyDelete
  33. "Criticize her parenting, her frugality, but not her weight."

Why not? She's almost starving her husband and son's but she can have a lot of extra weight on her? She looks like a pig.

    ReplyDelete
  34. “Why not? She's almost starving her husband and son's but she can have a lot of extra weight on her? She looks like a pig.”

Seriously? She looks like a pig? What the fuck are you talking about? First of all, she is certainly not obese, she looks pregnant and/or nursing, from what I can see.

Yes, her husband and children look skinny and underfed, but that doesn’t mean that she’s eating a lot more than them. It’s quite common for women to gain weight when they’re trying to eat less, because it puts the body into “starvation” mode, promoting fat storage. On an evolutionary basis, this is probably to increase the chances of successful pregnancies. Or as I mentioned, she looks pregnant or recently pregnant in the photo, certainly not “obsese”.

Secondly, from a societal standpoint, the criticism of women and the pressure on them to achieve a “perfect body”, is a major, major problem. Society tells women that unless they are skinny, they’re worth nothing, just as “quiverfull-ism” (Gothardism?) tells women that unless they’re submissive and bear dozens of children, they’re worth nothing. Both are equally as oppressive and I’m disgusted that someone who claims to be a feminist would judge a woman on her weight, especially since she looks t be quite average-sized. Everyone, including Emily, deserves to not be judged on looks, but rather on behaviour, attitude, and actions. I’m sure, based on those criteria, we have enough to criticize about her.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm all about the Emily snark, no doubt. But I agree that comments about her weight need to just stop. I think she probably was pregnant and/or nursing. Or, if not, big deal. She does have a healthy glow about her face and Dan does seem happy to have his arms around her so good for them.

The reason I snark about Dan's weight is because I am worried about him. I really think it's possible that he's not getting enough food. He looks emaciated, not at all healthy.

Criticize Emily for being a total fruitloop, for starving her family, for cooking really weird shit in the overly loved crockpot, for Therese, Brad, stuffing her children under cribs, the Wonderwash, the lacto-fermenting, the tube meat, the pathological addiction to poverty, her arrogance...I mean, there's a plethura of things to taunt her over. Let's not be really catty and cruel and taunt her over her weight. It's just not necessary.

I think most of us have agreed to tone down taunting Dan about his learning disabilities ever since he had the dignity to admit that there's something going on. It just doesn't seem right to be snarky when there is a real problem. Plus, I think that Dan is almost as much of a victim of Emily's insanity as the children.

  37. Thanks for the lecture Anon 5:51 PM but she looks like a pig, inside and out. Having had 4 children and gaining a ton of weight each time I know all about baby weight ect and evolution, thanks :)
If people can't control their over eating I'm not going to tread lightly while they conplain about it.

  39. How the hell do you know she's an overeater Anon 9:22. Based off one picture of her? Hell, a picture that basically shows her face, her boobs and her arms? A picture where she's likely pregnant?

Yeah, you aren't a judgemental bitch at all!

Also, you might want to check out Kate Harding's blog, where you might be shocked to learn that *gasp* fat people are people too! Hell, just read through the FAQ here http://kateharding.net/faq/ and you might learn a thing or two.

And no, I'm not an Emily defender (I think what she's doing to her children is horrible), I'm just someone who is tired of people thinking overweight women are somehow worthless and deserving of ridicule for their weight.

    ReplyDelete
  40. 9:22 Anon- You are, without a doubt, the biggest bitch I have ever had the displeasure of reading. Judging someone based on their weight is just low. Now, why don't you go find yourself a rock to live under, since you seem to revel in being such a low person?

    ReplyDelete
  41. you know...I wonder about the commenting on her weight issue- We sit here and pick her apart for every other aspect- anything we can find. PARTICULARLY the way that her husband and children appear to be wasting away on a "diet" of fermented dust and their own fingernails... is it so far out of bounds to notice that she seems downright robust, comparatively? Sure there may be a good explanation for many of the things we accuse her of from our glimpse into her life (which is limited, but fun!)
I don't see why it is so wrong to poke fun at her weight. Maybe not polite, or couth- but is any of this?
if she made them all shave their heads to save on shampoo, but kept her own luxurious mane of bug farm hair- would it not be ok to make light of that?
    I mean...really.
we're here to make fun of someone. so let's step down from our high horses, shall we?

    ReplyDelete
  42. She doesn't look overweight, even if she wasn't pregnant in that photo (which I am guessing she is).

    ReplyDelete
  43. Fist of all, we have no idea when this pic was taken. When I was pregnant and in the 4-5 months after, when nursing, I looked just like that. As a woman, I would think people could cut the girl some slack on the weight. Having babies totally fucked up my metabolism and hormones for at least a year.

Yes, she is a control freak who feeds her family substandard food, and they all look like they need to eat more green veggies. However, I refuse to snark on the weight and I refuse to snark on Dan. He is obviously LD, and I just can't do that. It goes without saying that her kids are off limits.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I don't disagree with the comments saying to back off of her weight- I think calling someone a pig because of their weight is just shitty- but even if she was pregnant, that's quite a bit of weight when her husband looks so sickly thin.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I think the big difference between making fun of her lifestyle choices and her weight is:

    1) A choice (her lifestyle) vs. something a physical characteristic (weight), which is probably determined more by genetics and the fact that she's pregnant or nursing than a choice.

    2) The fact that women are often put down because of their weight and insulting someone for that reason is pretty and childish.

A lot of people seem to think that weight determines a person's worth, which is something I think we all need to stand up against. Being fat =/= being a bad person, and adding weight to Emily's numerous faults is making that judgement.

As for Dan's weight loss compared to Emily's over the past year, that's likely based on four things: 1) genetics, some people lose weight more quickly than others 2) physical activity, Dan likely moves more than Emily due to his working and her....blogging and not cleaning 3) sex, men tend to lose weight more quickly than women 4) pregnancy, because well, I don't think Dan's been pregnant in the past year

    ReplyDelete
  46. Except she's not fat. I mean, come on. What is your definition of fat? Granted she's not going to grace the cover of any magazine anytime soon, but she doesn't look fat at all.

Dna... well, he looks simple as hell in that picture. For real, he looks like someone just handed him a lolly. He looks like an underfed child and she looks normal.

I also don't care how much weight he may have lost. No matter how slow he may be, I am hard pressed to believe that he is incapable of grabbing a sandwich, or some fries or whatever and feeding himself. If he is hungry, he can find a way to eat. He is a grown man. Not so the children. If he wastes away to nothing under the Rule of Emily then shame on him. Fucking pick up some food and eat something! But if he lets his kids go hungry then shame on them both.

    ReplyDelete
  47. she may not give him any money to spend. I mean how do you budget pocket money?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Anon 11:21
    Weight is a choice.

    ReplyDelete
  49. There is quite the discrepancy between noting that someone is "robust" and calling someone a pig. I'm sorry, but that goes beyond rude and is downright nasty. I don't like Emily any more than the rest of you do, but that just went over the line between snark and outright cruelty.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I don't think I understand where the line is: You can call someone with a learning disability stupid and make fun of him constantly for that but God forbid you make fun of a family starving food hoarding porker for being overweight. I think the comments were better when they were all nasty and less hypocritical.

    ReplyDelete
  51. That is where you're wrong. I am not hypocritical as I have never made fun of Dan's possible learning disability. I have never called the man stupid in a single one of my comments. I am horrified by their home and am worried for their children's wellfare. That doesn't mean that I will sit here and call her a pig and him stupid. You may thrive on general nastiness, but I don't, so don't even try to pull the hypocrite card with me.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Yes, I was pregnant in that picture.

Dan had a fitness class last spring which required routine excercise. That along with dietary changes caused him to lose a lot of weight. That pic was taken at his smallest and my largest. He has since gained some back.

I became obese when pregnant with Daniel. I lost some between Daniel and Bobby's pregnancies, and gained very little for both Bobby and Thomas' pregnancies. After Thomas was delivered, I was no longer technically obese but overweight. I am slowly losing weight, as losing too fast would compromise the breast milk quality.

I don't know how to get this through to any of you ignorant and judgmental people, but no one in my family is starving. Everyone eats their fill and Bobby and Thomas are downright pudgy. There is no food restrictions or limitations. Believe whatever you want about me, I don't care, but you are just being willfully ignorant by believing lies spread by those who dislike me.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Emily- Thank you for clearing that up for us. I do not dislike you, however I am concerned that you are feeding your family tube meat, the product that is always being recalled because of Ecoli and your love of the crock-pot, which does not reach a temp to kill it. Adult’s systems can handle mild cases of Ecoli better than child’s.
The other thing that concerns me, is your living conditions the amount of clutter that you have. Edit. Also stuffed toys are one of the leading causes of childhood asthma also dust mites and bed bugs, if not cleaned on regular bases. So get rid of them also Brad in the bathroom, he is a germ and bacteria factory. Please think about these things. If you don’t believe me, look it up on WEBMD.
From someone who 30 years ago, took advise from three very wise Jewish ladies, who taught me how to live in a small space(500 sq ft) third floor walk up on a limited budget with a husband and three children in five years, plus no car in NYC. You need to reach out and develop a circle of wise women to help you.
