Telling us how we can spruce up a child's bedroom.
Now that Emily isn't blahging as much, the future of this blog is kind of in the air. I'd like to keep it open because there is some funny stuff here, mostly by Gizmola, and a lot of the commenter's were very clever and witty in their responses as well.
I may do the odd Emily post when she posts on her Lint site (the thought if her fermented belly button makes me throw up a little in my mouth) and I have a couple of Ode to Emily recipes I'd like to do with pictures.
Gizmola has offered to continue with her brilliant parody writing on other trainwrecks as well. So we will still get to enjoy her hilarious parodies, and maybe once in awhile she'll do an Emily one as well :)
So, what do you think of that for a future direction? Any ideas that you would like to see? I'm sure Emily won't be able to remain quiet long, and we will have plenty more stuff soon, but in the meantime, we'll see how we roll ;) or I should maybe do it like this...(;

I'd be perfectly happy coming here for just Gizmola's postings. I found this blog about a week ago, and honest to God, I haven't laughed this hard in eons. She's brilliant. The email exhcanges she wrote between Dna and Emily still have me chuckling.

ReplyDeleteI mostly like to read other posters comments about Ms. Snippity so a "perpetual" comments thread would be kind of cool, where folks can post random thoughts and sightings of emilykate84 whether or not there is a new post from under1000 or gizmo.
Could her latest post as hacks have been any less inspiring or interesting? Geez. Kim will have to be a good sport to keep giving over her Wednesdays to that kind of crap.

Didn't her "contest" violate BlogHer rules? I thought all giveaways and contests and such had to be done through them?
If BlogHer cut her loose, then her blog wouldn't be pulling in money any more and AdSense already cut her out.
So without the cash she just shut 'er down.
Keep the site open. She'll be back, in one form or another.

BUT, I am sure you can find plenty of fodder to humor us. Gizmola can have a great time with MckMama and MckDaddy (he suffers from small penis syndrome, self admittedly). And I would have a great time with what Gizmola comes up with!
Wow, it didn't occur to me that blogssuckarsh might be dna.... but that would explain a lot! The typos, sure, but also the total LACK of a serious response from dna. He said on the last post something about her taking it down, so there's no need to threaten them further. I'd have been responding with something a LOT more severe than that. And the blogssuckarsh person's posts have been really strange, too... since you can't make your wife a good Christian, someone else needs to step in and do so? WTF?? Creepy and wrong!

ReplyDeleteI would love it if my husband only did #2 at work, but then he might not have a job, since he can clear out an entire floor. So, I can kind of relate to Em on this one, I mean, with the size apt they have it could become an issue of air toxicity, and don't those poor babies have enough to deal with?

ReplyDeleteGeez Em, just play with your kids and enjoy them. If you are bored why don't you get a part or full time job. Day care is covered because of your level of income if you refuse the free day care, ask around at your church or his skool of the holy basement, most facilities offer to adults with children some type of free or reduced day care. Im sure there is a few good individuals that would purpose to help you out!
Then again Im sure they would feed your children more than pickled salsa and limeawhey and that wouldnt fit into the plan...It just makes me tired to think such a young woman with all those kiddos would only have the gumption to sit on the computer all day finding ways to be bat shit crazy! There is a point when frugality reaches craziness. And Houston we have landing here!
