Lawyer Info Please Emily
Good Morning Emily,
I am requesting that you provide your lawyer information so that I may send him/or her my contact information for the cease and desist letter.
If Emily really had a lawyer, she wouldn't be on this blog replying to your posts...but keeping her mouth shut so as to not to say anything that could possibly make her look bad, and letting her lawyers handle things.
She's clearly not educated on the subject of copyright. According to the government's website, you have to register your work if you wish to bring a lawsuit for infringement (in reference to U.S. work). This is also a civil matter not something the FBI would be interested in, ha!
I'd bet that she has not registered any of her work. That would require $$
She would also have to register each entry separately (it is possible that she can do a collective group, but that gets a little tricky as I cannot determine if the copyright department has kept up with online blogging).
Also, there only a few countries outside of the US who abide by US copyright. So if you are not in the US or one of those countries, copyright law doesn't really apply.
Gee one would hope Emily would be I don't know worried about maybe spending money on decent food for her ill child (malnourishment anyone?) than worrying about someone copying and pasting her blog.
And thanks blogger for setting up here, now I can read all about her without clicking to her her neglectful behind more money!
It would be SO Emily to retain the services of a lawyer before she booked yearly checkups for her children. I'm quite sure at this point the only reason Emily ISN'T retaining a lawyer is because that would blow her bullshit "we only spend $1000 a month" accounting/credibility. I mean, those of us with a few brain cells to rub together realise she's not making what she claims to be making off her blog...we know she's full of shit when it comes to rubbing a few nickles together...but her followers? Those who praise her dangerous ways? They haven't a clue. If she wants to flaunt her poverty, she can't very well hire a lawyer.
Also? This is the most attention Emily will ever get, unless CPS decides to take her down or the IRS busts her ass for not claiming her "blogging income" (in brackets cause I don't believe it exists any more than unicorns.)
I don't think it's lost on Emily that she's going to spend a lifetime closeted inside her filthy abode with her filthy husband and poor little children, eating sub-par food and washing diapers in her bathroom sink.
Ride the wave, stinker...a bunch of strangers gaping over your stupidity is the big time for you, Emily. Well, unless you continue with your drastic ways - then you just might get yourself in the news for neglect. I hope it never comes to that though, and in your golden years you can sit back and think fondly of the days when you got to be sassy to a bunch of people on the intarwebs.
Emily doesn't want a costly lawyer to come between her and her drama and her ability to thumb her nose at her mother AND a whole bunch of internet strangers!
If that wackadoo did retain an attorney regarding this matter, she would keep her mouth shut. All lawyers would advise that she refrain from commenting here. FFS, Emily.
She is strangely quiet on this, isn't she?
ReplyDeletedo lawyers take swagbucks?
ReplyDeleteLOL, Anon!
ReplyDeleteMaybe she can arrange to Mystery Shop an attorney!

ReplyDeleteShe doesn't have a lawyer. Intellectual property attorneys, unlike personal injury, want payment in advance and can command a decent hourly rate.
ReplyDelete"do lawyers take Swagbucks?"...
ReplyDeletethanks Anon, I needed that laugh!
Does Walmart have those walk-in lawyer shops in their stores?
